Self-Love

I had intended to title this blog “the Narcissist,” but that has been taken. Dolmania gives the same sense of self-absorption, yet adds a bit of bipolar disorder befitting my personality (versus the continuous angst-ridden torment of most personal blogs today, akin to the boo-hoo-my-life-sucks genre of modern pop music). Still, it is not a large draw. Astropolitics is the name of a space policy journal that Dr John Sheldon and I started several years ago that is now published by Taylor & Francis, and though I have no formal editorial duties (presently) with the enterprise, I hold copyright on the term astropolitics as well as the logo at the top of the page. So there.

Now you, the handsome and powerful reader, will peruse various musings, academic essays, rants, and my own brand of dry, occasionally vitriolic, humor.

That is, of course, should there be any reader(s).

Dolman, you have way too much time on your hands!!!

Time is one thing that we all have too much of. I find this exercise in electronic self expression both fascinating and horrifying–much like a car wreck that one drives by while traveling the interstate. I am both horrified and strangely curious but mostly unable to rend myself from viewing.

    I second FSB’s comment.
